(WALT DISNEY PICTURES - Walt Disney Pictures has released the first look at Daniel Day-Lewis transformed into Abraham Lincoln for the upcoming film, "Lincoln."

The 55-year-old Oscar winner takes on an uncanny resemblance of the 16th president of the United States for Steven Spielberg's upcoming film. The film, which is set to hit theaters in November, also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Field.

The film tracks the last month's of the president's life, leading up to his assasination in Washington, DC on April 15, 1865, and is based on the work of historian Doris Kearns Goodwin with a script by "Angels in America" playwright Tony Kushner.
