A new Angry Birds Star Wars line is set to hit store shelves

Hasbro Inc. teams up with the makers of Angry Birds and Star Wars to develop a new toy line.

HELSINKIFINLAND  (REUTERS) - Just in time for the holiday season, Hasbro Inc. is bringing the Star Wars edition of Angry Birds to store shelves.

The American toy company has joined forces with LucasFilms, the owner of the Star Wars brand and Rovio Entertainment, the makers of Angry Birds, to produce and distribute the new line.

Ten toys divided into three categories will be launched in the beginning of November 2012. Included will be At-At-Attack Battle Game based on the Angry Birds Star Wars game. In addition, Hasbro will revamp their Jenga and Koosh brands for the series.

Star Wars characters will also be remodeled into the infamous pigs and Angry Birds.

Hasbro Inc. will launch the second phase of the line in 2013.
