Prince's career is told in vivid color in a new comic book about his life.

(BLUEWATER PRODUCTIONS) -  The life and career of pop star Prince is detailed in a new comic book.

In 24 pages the publication details the 55-year-old's career from a young musician in Minneapolis,Minnesota to a global star.

In addition to Prince's fight with his record company in 1993 when he changed his name to what he called a love symbol.

For author Michael Frizell, who said he has been a fan since the 1970's, writing the story was "like reliving his childhood."

The book will hit book store shelves on December 4th.
