Beyonce and Jay Z lose trademark battle for Blue Ivy

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK UNITED STATES  (HOLLYWOODTV) - Beyonce and Jay-Z have lost there legal battle to trademark their daughter's name Blue Ivy. The Boston Herald is reporting that the US Patent and Trademark office turned down their petition to retain Blue Ivy for their own business. The couple were denied due to aBoston based event planning company which has used the name since 2009. Beyonce reportedly wanted to use the name for a line of children's clothing.
