The actress, best known as the buxom star of 1940s and 1950s, died of respiratory failure at her home in central California.

Actor Charlie Sheen escalated his war of words with his former "Two and A Half Men" employers on Monday (February 28), demanding a pay rise as his lawyer threatened legal action over canceled episodes of the top-

rated comedy.

"The King's Speech" won the top Academy Award, for best picture, giving the British royals drama a total of four Oscars at Sunday's. It won such key awards as best actor for its star, Colin Firth and best director for Tom Hooper.

Natalie Portman won for best actress for her role in "The Black Swan."

While, "The Fighter's" Christian Bale and Melissa Leo earned Oscars in their respective best supporting categories.
