LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA UNITED STATES  (HOLLYWOODTV) - Eddie Van Halen underwent emergency surgery for diverticulitis, a condition that causes inflammation in the intestines. According to Van Halen's website, he is expected to make a full recovery within 4-6 months. The band has been forced to reschedule their tour of Japan that was set to kick off in November. The new dates will be in sometime in 2013.
