The International Animated Film Association bestows its highest honor on Disney film "Wreck-It Ralph." WALT DISNEY PICTURES - Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" was named best animated film of 2012 at the 40th Annie Awards on Saturday evening (February 02). The film is an animated comedy about a video game villain who dreams of being a hero. Director Rich Moore was also named the best director by the International Animated Film Association, and "Wreck-It Ralph" is the odds on favorite for winning the Academy Award for best animated feature, having also won the top prize at the Producers Guild Awards on January 26. The 85th Annual Academy Awards will be handed out in a telecast on Sunday, February 24. |
