Deserted streets, birds chirping, fishermen fixing their nets - doesn't sound much like a Hollywood wedding venue but for those "in the know" this beautiful hamlet in southern Italy will host the wedding for actors Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel this week. SAVELLETRI, ITALY (OCTOBER 19, 2012) (REUTERS) - You could almost hear the sound of silence in the small southern Italian village of Savelletri on Friday (October 19) but celebrity magazine US Weekly say actors Justin Timberlake and fiance Jessica Biel will be walking down the aisle in a star-studded wedding ceremony in a five-star resort close-by. The couple threw a casual pre-wedding party on Wednesday at the Cala Masciola beach inside a five-star resort the, Borgo Egnazia, on the Adriatic Sea, the magazine said. Guests included comedian Andy Samberg, who co-starred with Timberlake in an Emmy-winning "Saturday Night Live" digital short and the film "Friends With Benefits," a romantic comedy. The Borgo Egnazia, only a few hundred metres away from Savelletri, is a beautiful-walled village with private access to the beach, easy to secure. It has some ninety-two houses built in the local tradition inside and would have no problem housing huge celebrity wedding parties. Security men were seen on the walls looking through binoculars and the main gate into the complex is only opened after security checks. Cactus and olive trees grow in the fields that lie outside the borgo walls. Most of the locals who live in the area work inside the resort and refused to speak to the media. If a wedding is about to take place only a special few are going to know anything about it. |
