Russell Brand has two big movies competing for audiences this weekend. NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (APRIL 5, 2011) HOLLYWOODTV - Russell Brand's animated comedy 'Hop' topped the box office for the second straight weekend. Defeating Brand himself with his remake of 'Arthur'. taking second place. 'Hop' in which the comedian voices a computer animated buddy, grossed $21.7 million (USD). Brand's update of 'Arthur' debuted at a disappointing $12.6 million (USD). The original 'Arthur' earned Dudley Moore an Oscar nomination and earned $95.5 million domestically.
