LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (AMPAS POOL) - Hugh Jackman was treated for basal cell carcinoma - a slow-growing form of skin cancer. The actor posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account, showing him with a bandage on his nose. According to experts, Jackman's type of cancer is usually caused by UV exposure and can be highly disfiguring if allowed to grow.
Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres dished on what audiences should expect to see at the awards show in March. She said it was "nerve-wracking" the first time she hosted the Academy Awards in 2007, but then thought she should challenge herself the second time around. The talk show host said she'll be joking around and interacting a lot with the audience. Oscar nominations will be announced on January 16 with the show to be broadcast live on March 2.
