On Wednesday (March 15) a photo surfaced online of the pop-star sitting in a custom made 24-carat wheelchair with a canopy.
The New York native is recovering after undergoing hip surgery last month to repair a labral tear of the right hip.
Gaga's bum hip has forced her to cancel some two dozen concerts in the United States as part of her "Born This Way Ball" tour.
After surgery the singer thanked fans in a blog post on her littlemonsters.com fan website, saying the setback was "just a bump in the road."
No timetable has been set for Lady Gaga to return to performing, but her tour operator said she would need "strict downtime."
Lady Gaga has been on the road for two years, performing concerts on six continents.
