LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (APRIL 24, 2012) (HOLLYWOODTV) - Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car accident this morning, and is currently in the emergency room at an L.A. hospital. Lohan was driving her black Porche on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica when she slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler. The Porsche was totaled, passenger window shattered, and the front bumper was completely torn off. Reports say that Lindsay and her assistant (the passenger) were both bloody and bruised after the accident, and the assistant was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Sources close to Lohan say she's claiming that the 18-wheeler cut her off, and the accident was not her fault.
