UK-Comic Con -- London Comic Con kicks off, drawing fans, gamers

 China Central Television (CCTV) - The London Comic Con featuring cosplay, video games and animation products kicked off Friday at the Exhibition Centre of London.

The winners of the EuroCosplay Championships will be announced during the expo, and the organizers even provide a mini studio for any cosplayers to take photo.

Apart from the cosplay, lots of gamers flock to the Games Expo to enjoy playing current and upcoming games from world's top publishers. Japanese video games company Nintendo is showcasing their upcoming video game console Wii U, which attracts lots of fans.

Many fans are excited about the expo, saying the comic con brings a lot of joy for those comic fans.

The London Comic Con MCM Expo is the largest convention of pop culture in the United Kingdom. It is held twice each year, usually in May and October.

This year's convention will end on Sunday. It is believed more than 60,000 people will visit the expo, making it largest-ever event since it was first held in 2002.
