LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (MAY 12, 2012) (HOLLYWOODTV) - Maria Menounos was a recent guest on the "Howard Stern Show," and revealed that she's been sexually abused multiple times by doctors during past visits. Maria now doesn't go into examination rooms without her boyfriend. Her phobia of doctors began when she visited a physician to treat a throat issue, when the doctor asked her to change into a hospital gown and then he started to touch her genitals. Maria said, "I was really young, so I was so uncomfortable. (My boyfriend) Kevin was in the waiting room and I literally started screaming, I was just so uncomfortable I didn't know what to do." Maria's boyfriend even encouraged her to press charges against the doctor, but she didn't want to make the issue any worse. Maria also revealed that other medical examinations involved the doctors complimenting her on her belly button piercing before touching it.
