News crews, satellite trucks and a few fans have surrounded Justin Bieber's hotel in Miami beach hoping to catch a glimpse of the teen pop idol one day after he was arrested for drag racing a lamborghini under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs. MIAMI BEACH, MIAMI, UNITED STATES (JANUARY 24, 2014) (REUTERS) - The streets outside Justin Bieber's Miami Beach hotel were packed tight with news crews and satellite trucks on Friday (January 24), one day after the teen idol was released from a Miami jail. Bieber was arrested for drag racing a lamborghini under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs.
He was released later in the day on a $2500 USD bond. But for some like 14-year-old Amanda Pagan, who spent most of the night outside the hotel, catching a glimpse of her idol was a priority. She recalls a tweet she sent out last last night. I tweeted that if he actually cared about his fans he would come outside," she said on her way to school in the morning when passing the hotel. "I was here last night and he hadn't come out and I just wanted to check if he did," said 13-year-oldAugustina Romar. Colombian tourist Odahir Salcedo says he was amazed at the media frenzy outside of Bieber's hotel. He thinks the pop star still has a lot of growing up to do. "He is a young star and when you are a young star you think you can do anything you want and nobody can tell you to stop," he said. Bieber's next court date is on Monday (January 27), but it is unclear if he needs to appear in person before a judge in person. |
