Monty Python Announces Their Reunion

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (OCTOBER 15, 2009) (REUTERS) -  According to U.S. entertainment industry magazine Variety, comedy groupMonty Python will be reuniting for a stage show.

The live performance will be the first time the five surviving members have performed together in 15 years.

Terry JonesJohn CleeseEric IdleTerry GilliamMichael Palin and Graham Chapman, who died in 1989, first came together in 1969 on a British television sketch show.

Some of the comedians took to twitter to help spread the news about the reunion with Idele saying: "Only three days to go till the Python Press Conference. Make sure Python fans are alerted to the big forthcoming news event."

More details on the show will be released during an event in London's West End on Thursday (November 21).
