President Obama sings "Sweet Home Chicago" during White House blues festival

President Obama closes the show with "Sweet Home Chicago" during White House blues festival.

WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES (FEBRUARY 21, 2012) (PBS/IN PERFORMANCE AT THE WHITE HOUSE)
At the very end of Tuesday night's (February 21) "In performance at the White House", the President belted out several bars of "Sweet Home Chicago."

It took a bit of good natured ribbing from blues legend Buddy Guy to convince the President to sing the the impromptu duet with B.B. King.


President and Mrs. Obama hosted a salute to blues at the White House on Tuesday as part of the American celebration of Black history month.


Performing at the special event were B.B. King, Trombone Shorty, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, Shemekia Copeland, Susan Tedeschi, Gary Clark, Jr., Keb' Mo', Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes.
